Finding a healthy snack that is yummy and filling can sometimes seem a little challenging. Our society is bombarded with chips, sugary drinks, and high fat foods, and although popcorn can be a very fatty and sodium filled snack, if you have it the right way, it is actually a great healthy snack. We have gathered some favorite popcorn recipes that only require a few ingredients and are a perfect, healthy anytime snack to keep you full and satisfied.
Basic popcorn in a bag: Add 1/4 cup popcorn kernels to a brown paper bag and fold it down a couple inches. Place the bag in the microwave and cook for about 2- 2 1/2 minutes or until most of the kernels are popped (different microwave times vary). Add a small amount of salt and you are good to go! This is a perfect recipe is you are just wanting a single serving of popcorn.

Herbed Garlic Parmesan Popcorn: Another great one from OurBestBites!
Sea Salt & Lime Popcorn: Use the basic popcorn in a bag recipe and add sea salt to taste and juice from half a lime.
Mexican Popcorn: Use the basic popcorn in a bag recipe again and start by adding a 1/4 tsp of each: chili powder, garlic powder and cumin. Also add a little drizzle of olive oil. Add another 1/4 tsp of each seasoning as needed.
