Coconut oil is all the rage these days. It has hundreds of uses from baking with it to putting it in your hair. So, it’s no surprise that it makes a great moisturizer for your feet! Get your feet sandal ready with this quick coconut oil foot routine.
First, soak your feet for 10 minutes in warm water. You can add a little epsom salt or your favorite sugar scrub to soften up the skin.
Next, add a few drops of melted coconut oil to your pumice stone or loofa as well a some of your sugar scrub. The scrub will help exfoliate the skin and the coconut oil will help moisturize the skin. Really scrub those heels and extra dry areas of your feet.
Dry your feet off and apply more coconut oil to the areas of your feet that need a little extra attention, or that cause you pain. Dry cracked heels can be painful and if not given the proper care they need, they can become infected.
If your feet are still needing a little extra moisture and pampering, rub coconut oil all over them right before bed and wear a nice pair of cotton socks all night. Your feet will thank you in the morning.
